The Order of Saint Thomas of Canterbury is more than a tradition - it is a living embodiment of knighthood, chivalry, and Christian duty. If you are a person of good standing who feels called to this noble path, we encourage you to reach out.

Membership in the Order is by invitation only

Invitation is typically extended by an active member or senior officer. Interested individuals who embody the values of Christian chivalry and are committed to helping those in need should contact the Command Council via the online application form.

If accepted, you will begin your journey as a Sergeant and undergo a probationary period. Upon successful completion, you will be invested into the Order in a formal Investiture Ceremony - a sacred rite marked by the wearing of the white cloak decorated with the red cross and white scallop in the middle, symbolizing confraternity, service, and dedication to Christianity.

Becoming part of a knightly order is not merely a ceremonial or honorary role. It is a lifelong journey of service, personal growth, and spiritual commitment. While we do not grant easily knighthood or confer it for worldly gain, we welcome those who genuinely wish to explore the chivalric path and serve communities from England as modern-day knights and dames.
